Our read: Born into Brothels (2004) reads as a sombre, steady, grounded documentary entry — measured in intensity, mid-stakes in scope, measured in temperature, ambivalent in outlook.
Sombre, steady, measured documentary, grounded in texture. Ambivalent, mid-stakes, measured.
