Evil Dead Rise
Directed by Lee Cronin1h 36m2023
A reunion between two estranged sisters gets cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.
Our read: Evil Dead Rise (2023) reads as a heavy, kinetic, inventive horror entry — extreme in intensity, intimate in scope, cold in temperature, nihilistic in outlook.
Heavy, kinetic, extreme horror, inventive in texture. Nihilistic, intimate, cold.
