Pleasure
Directed by Ninja Thyberg1h 48m2021
19 year old Linnéa leaves her small town in Sweden and heads for Los Angeles with the aim of becoming the world's next big porn star, but the road to her goal turns out to be bumpier than she imagined.
Our read: Pleasure (2021) reads as a neutral, steady, inventive drama entry — measured in intensity, mid-stakes in scope, measured in temperature, ambivalent in outlook.
Neutral, steady, measured drama, inventive in texture. Ambivalent, mid-stakes, measured.
