Ultras
Directed by Francesco Lettieri1h 49m2020
An aging soccer fanatic faces down the reality of his past while struggling to give himself and a young follower very different futures.
Our read: Ultras (2020) reads as a sombre, steady, grounded drama entry — measured in intensity, intimate in scope, measured in temperature, nihilistic in outlook.
Sombre, steady, measured drama, grounded in texture. Nihilistic, intimate, measured.
