Deliver Us
Directed by Lee Roy Kunz, Cru Ennis1h 42m2023
When a nun in a remote convent claims immaculate conception, the Vatican sends a team of priests to investigate, concerned about an ancient prophecy that a woman will give birth to twin boys: one the Messiah, the other the Antichrist.
Our read: Deliver Us (2023) reads as a heavy, steady, inventive horror entry — extreme in intensity, epic-stakes in scope, cold in temperature, nihilistic in outlook.
Heavy, steady, extreme horror, inventive in texture. Nihilistic, epic, cold.
